[Recipe]: Pancakes for Single Serving

Hello guys!

So in this post, I am going to share with you how to make a perfect pancake for your breakfast. This recipe is meant for 3 pancakes in which it is adequate for a person. But, you can adjust the size according to your want and it could make more or lesser than 3 pancakes.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of wheat flour

1 egg

1 tablespoon of sugar

1 teaspoon of baking powder (it is different than baking soda, beware)

1 tablespoon of melted butter

1/4 cup of milk (I use Dutch Lady Full Cream milk)

Maple syrup (or any other toppings according to your taste bud)

Instructions:

  1. Add flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix it well.
  2. Add egg, melted butter and milk to the batter and whisk until it is smooth. It is okay to have some lumps but make sure it is tiny.
  3. Set aside and grease your pan with oil and set a medium heat. But if you pan is a stick pan, I would suggest you to add a spoon of cooking oil.
  4. Scoop 3 ladle of your batter and cook until it is brown on both sides and serve it. If you don't know how long it would take to cook the sides, I would suggest less than a minute (for medium heat). It depends on your heat too.
  5. Serve with maple syrup.
  6. Eat until your belly button gets off your shirt.
Notes:

If you found the batter to be a bit liquid, then you could try to add a tablespoon of flour. It will make the pancakes more cakey. Or if you like your pancake to be thin, than add a little bit more water and it would have a little texture of a crepe.

So this is my end result. Seriously it is tastier than the pancakes that you eat at McDonalds hahaha
